I was wondering I read somewhere that filling the under deck space with pool noodles helps buoncy??? Any truth to this myth?? Thanks |

The consensus seems to be that four pool noodles will keep your yak from sinking. They also rank close to duct tape in the variety of things they are used for. Run a search of the kayak forums for "pool noodles" and you'll probably get 200 hits. Four noodles also reflects my experience, although I went back to flotation bags because I have several of them from my old canoe and kayak. |
