West Marine advertises a product called G/flex epoxy as being suitable for plastic (and most everything else). I want to attach skid plates, either fiberglas or plastic, to the bow and stern of my AI to prevent chafing. Has anyone had experience with West Marine G/flex? In a previous post regarding an internal repair DP8010 was recommended. Has anyone used this and how has it held up? |

We just got our first shipment of the stuff yesterday, so we haven't had a chance to play with it yet. But everything I've read looks promising. If you haven't seen it yet, the latest copy of West Systems Epoxyworks has a bunch of information on G/flex. It's available online: http://www.epoxyworks.com/ Brian C |
