I used the ram tubes but was wondering if anybody tried the scotty 444 compact flush mounts on the space before the molded in footwells start. Thanks. ![]() |

thanks foc and sunjammer for answering his question, the 444 will not fit. the back nut is about an 1/8in too big. i went ahead and got the mounting base you showed sun jammer. did the hard ware come with the mount by any chance? I may use rivets but stainless bolts and nylok nuts seem to be better. i got the rod extenders as well hopefully it works out like i hope. |

No, mounting hardware isn't included. I used sheet metal screw w/o backing nuts, never had had a problem with them pulling out. |
