I can't seem to find the part # or a price for the "large forward flip hatch" on my 07 Outback. Anyone know offhand. I am thinking of mounting my new fish finder on the hatch. I would rather drill into something I could replace. |

I'm not finding it either... Maybe color variations from run to run preclude stocking hatches. I'd check with your local dealer to see if he's scavanged one off of a dead boat. Brian C |

Really no need. Just put the FF mount under your latch down bunjies and run the cords over the gasket. The gasket is big enough to go around the cords without letting in any water. I've had mine like that for a year. |

Nice. I didn't even think about that. But your picture reminds me, I could make a mount and put it in the mast housing. Btw, if anyone does have the part #, I am looking for the papaya yellow. I will try the bungie idea first. Hurry up warm weather. |

no need to make a mount for the mast hole, a scotty fish finder mount fits nice! you can used the down haul bungi clip to hold it in place, like a fish finder down haul! |

All of these are great ideas, but I am still wondering if the large forward flip hatch has a part #, and more importantly a price. Papaya if the color is needed. |

Well, I got my FF mounted, and am using 3/4" pipe to hang the finder in the post for the mast. I just ran the cables out of the forward flip hatch, but don't really like the way it's distorting the gasket. Since it's only while I am on the water I am not too concerned, but would still like to know a part # and price for another flip hatch (papaya) ![]() |

Yakrider, What the heck do you use that scotty mount, mounted at the back by the rudder for? Troy |
