Post subject: | Changing to a three piece tramp on Hobie Wave |
I have a Hobie Wave that has a one piece full tramp, the problem is I want to change it and put a club tramp on it instead. It already has two side tracks running down the inside of both hulls. These tracks now has three hooks in them that attaches to the cable to hold the one piece tramp, these hooks can slide freely up and down the tracks when I take the tramp off. My question is, am I able to use these same tracks to install a three piece tramp or are the tracks for the club tramps different then the ones that are on my wave. I can't even look at another Hobie Wave to compare because I have the only one in this area. Any feed back sure would be appreciated. Bill |

Yes - you can install the Club on your boat - it uses the same slides tracks. |

Thanks so much for the reply, I didn't want to go and buy the three piece tramp and waste my money if I couldn't use it Bill |

Once you have the tramp conversion done, consider adding the traveler kit now that the old wraps will no longer be in the way around the crossbar. I really enjoy mine for both taming high winds and for capturing a bit more of it on the light days. It also helps me feel at least a 'bit' more busy on an otherwise super-simplified boat. |
