First off, new to this forum. I'm no where near a great sailor, but I've been on H14s and H16s for years now. Hopefully I can contribute something to you guys. It sounds a little crazy but the maximum side clearance on side of my house is 104". I measured the widest part of my trailer setup and it comes in slightly over that. The rollers on my trailer are the black flat kind with the smaller side roller that goes out at an angle. That small side roller on both sides is enough to impede on that dimension. I'm looking to unbolt and flip that side roller to the inside of the hulls. I've looked at it quite a bit and it looks like there should be no problems and that it will still accomplish the same end result. I've only seen on photo of this online. Anyone have a reason I shouldn't do it? |

None that I can see. My current boat trailer has the vertical positioning rollers on the inside of the hulls, and it works just fine. |

Agreed, roller on the inside or outside doesn't matter as long as there's no risk of the hull slipping off the side of the trailer. If you set the spacing of your rollers properly, it will work fine. sm |

Thanks guys, i have been keeping the boat at another location for a few years but am moving it home in order to clean up the hulls and get the trailer better suited for travel. I didn't see any real issue with flipping the rollers and you helped me confirm it. Appreciate it. |
