My newly acquired 2011 Getaway had two broken hatch lid locks. Given all of the other replacement parts I decided to modify/repair the locking mechanism so the hatches would be somewhat useful and spend the $$ on other more critical parts.
What I started with:

Materials in the garage (1/2" cpvc +HMWPE piece):
Had to enlarge the hole in the lid to accommodate the 1/2" CPVC and then made a couple replacement locks. Pictures should tell the story:
