| Post subject: | Replace bow spreader bar |
Bought a used T2 knowing parts may be hard to get but I broke bow spreader getting the boat out of the water, the first time using it. Does the Getaway/wave/H16 spreader work for a T2? Where can I get a part if they don't fit? Not sure what it is made of, It broke off at the brackets near the screws, can it be welded back together? The pole is still in good shape, the brackets are in pretty good shape, can I weld or cement them in using a marine cement product? |

Not sure about whether it can be repaired without seeing it, but I did see this link if you want to contact them. https://sailandskiconnection.com/store/ ... p142680526 As you found out, the handles molded in to the hull are for handling the boat - never use the spreader bar. |

Thanks bistro, yea I learned the hard way about using the handles and not the bar. Thanks for info, going to call the company to make sure they really have the item. |
