Post subject:  Does Hobie still make the 16 foot Wave T2?
I have sailed mine to death and the elements have done the rest. I want a new T2! It’s on the Hobie website but somebody told me they are not available anymore? I have sent email to local san diego dealer but thought somebody here can help? Im obsessed with this boat!

Might take a look at this thread -- https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic. ... 27&t=64862 Matt Miller says it was discontinued in the US, but wasn't sure about Europe.

Jim thanks so much for the response. Obviously not what I hoped to hear but it does bring me to another option. Hobie has always supported parts for their long discontinued Hobie 14, I had a few of those over the years and never had trouble getting parts. In reading the posts it seems that that might not be the case with the T2? I’m so desperate for another T2 I wonder if I could buy everything and have it built from scratch. I know it sounds crazy but if Hobie stocks the parts why not? Any info, advice or thoughts much appreciated!

Might be you lucky day. Take a look at https://www.thebeachcats.com/classified ... -foot.html which was just listed yesterday.

I don't know how many other T2s hit the market.
