Hobie Waves / Oracle Americas Cup Quote: America’s Cup sailors Jimmy Spithill, Tom Slingsby, Rome Kirby and Andrew Campbell from ORACLE TEAM USA were joined by newly appointed SoftBank Team Japan skipper Dean Barker, all of whom served as the crew on the Hobie Waves, with the youth sailors handling skippering duties.

Great to see youth catamaran sailing getting this kind of promotion. Getting young sailors involved early is a fantastic way to build skills, confidence, and a lasting love for the sport. The future of sailing definitely looks bright! |
