Can someone point me to a photo or drawing of the righting line rigging for the H18. Thanks |

Sorry, no photo. But I like to keep it simple. Tie one end to the dolphin striker, pass the line back loop it under one of the tramp lacings and back forward and tie it off to itself. If you want to be real simple, you can tie one end off to the dolphin striker and then just stuff the tail in one of the tramp pockets. sm |

Yea jim,I agree with the previous thread,I have spent a lot of money on different righting systems,(hawiian style ,shock chord style).The problem with these setups are that they hang down the outside lip of the hull erom the front crossbar to the transom and they hang low under an already low clearance tramp.I pulled both of these setups off my boat and just tie a line to the center post and dolphin striker.Make it long enough to go over the top and back down where you need it.I tie a bowline at the right heighth so i can slide my harness hook in and just hang,that way i can help my crew hold on. I tuck it in tramp pocket,super easy to grab and stow. hope that helps. shawn 82 H18 #8211 \Div3 |
