chip at whirlwind sails built these baby's.
i'm not sure which i like better, the looks or performance.....i guess i'll vote for...both!
it,'s taken about three sailing sessions to feel like i got my self dialed in. i've spent most my time getting the batten tension right. it's just that they are so different from what i'm used to. especially the responsiveness. low and medium wind performance is definitely seems better. haven't got to put them to the test on a truly windy day with me and crew yet. Hey ncmbm,
we are thinking of moving to another part of the U.S. in the near future. we are from California.
what do you think of North Carolina and the sailing there? we have our hearts set on Tennessee and the Lake Percy Priest that is near.

Sailaway,
NC is a great place to live and work. Many lakes around to play on. I do most of my sailing off the coast of SC, Myrtle specifically. There isn't much racing in the state, 2 scheduled for this season. Most of the races are in SC or GA. TN is too far from the ocean for me. That and the tornados they seem to get regularly. There are several cities in NC that are considered the best places in the US to live, Cary and Apex come to mind. Good luck with the move!

I'm assuming that's on a STD rig, not SX?... judging by the std H-18 jib?

Nice looking, when will they be class legal... I'll pop for one!
