Does anyone know the respective sail areas of an 18,18sx and i8 sx squaretop? How about the differance in the 18 and 18sx jib? I want some new sails built, and would like the numbers.

Shoot an E-Mail or a phone call to Chip @ Whirlwind Sails. He probably knows all those numbers right off the top of his head.
I assume you are not planning on racing since custom built sails aren't class legal, and Hobie never made a class legal square top for the Hobie 18 in any configuration.

The square footage difference is not a very big number, but it does add the power up at the top which can make the boat noticeably faster in light air, a wee bit faster in medium winds, and quite a bit more tippy in heavy winds.
