Post subject: | Looking for hulls |
I'm looking for solid hulls. Does anyone know where I can get a set of hulls respectively inexpensive so I can get my free hobie 18 on the water. . . I just posted about my hulls being soft and I'm entertaining the thought of getting a set of hulls if cost are reasonable. In this time I've got to watch my pennies. If anyone knows of hulls available, please let me know. Thanks Joshua. |

One thing you could try at about $35 per gallon. at Home Depot they have resign. It is in the paint section. It is cheapest by the gallon...mix it in small batches because it hardens fast. But try painting it on a section of the hull and see if that stiffens up your hulls, the more hardener you use the faster it hardens (you only need a drop or 2!read the instructions) If you have holes they also have fiber cloth in that same area… It has worked for us in the past we get boats that well lets say it as it really is. If you paint it on you have less sanding to do when you level it out. We get the boats donated to us that people want out of their yards but don’t want to pay to dump them in a land fill… Cheep ship paint check with your local marina… Hope that helps Skipper Seascout Ship 800 Grafton, NH |
