The diagram you show has two triples and one single. Mine has two quads. This is exactly the rig I have: 8:1 Beachcat This is Harken's page that shows this setup: harken.com/rigtips/mainsheet.php No where on Harken's (or anybody else's site) can I find reeving instructions for this particular setup. technically that is a 7:1 setup in the picture Paul. I run two 72mm quad carbo-air bblocks and the reeving is alittle different. I have tried several setups and by trial and error found one that doesnt interfere when hauled in tight.Let me get back to you when I get my camera out to where my boat is.I know the middle two sheeves are the last to be reeved, just to keep everything from binding sideways, will get u some pics. RushMan wrote: Found this on the Harken website ![]() I'm confused, I guess you all (oldsalt & shawn) are making comments on this diagram? Two questions... how many sheaves are in the upper block? how many total sheaves are in the lower portion? |

I guess you have 8 ,my bad. I am used to 16 low profile sets. My 18 setup is two quads with a becket on the lower ratchetblock. shawn 82 H18 #8211 \div.3 |
