| Post subject: | SX Mylar sail |
Well, I bought the mylar sail i mentioned in an earlier post. After a thorough cleaning I laid it out to dry and then laid my SE main sail over the SX to see the differences. The SX is about 8 inches longer and a few inches wider around the middle of the sail. With all the repairs it needs and the fact that I would have to get new battens as well, I decided to put it up on eBay. I actually think I could have used it on my boat as is though clew of the sail would probably be just a few inches away from the bottom of the mast and you'd have to get down low to roll under the boom on tacks.
