has anyone added sx wings to 1980 era h 18 what would the negatives be in this endeavor I recreation sail and like the idea of being up and out of the water, and a little further out over the side. would i be better looking for magnum wings Thanks for any input Ted |

Same attachment points, SX wings are longer. Either will work. |

Be sure to add the anchor plates/brackets and reinforce the hull to deck area. Also on the SX wings add the for/aft braces. |

fore/aft braces were mentioned. are these hobie parts or home made and where would they go/attach to. am putting wings on my 18sx and want to do it right the first time. |

fore/aft braces are Hobie. I have a new set but never used them because I have a magnum set of wings. |

How does that effect your trapeez setup? |
