I noticed that the tip of my Tiger's spinnaker pole was bending upward under the stress of the spinnaker in about 12 MPH of wind. I have the mid-pole snuffer. We stopped and pre-bent the spinnaker pole more. The tip still bends upward, maybe a bit less, but still upward. Is that correct? When does one know that there is enough pre-bend in the spinnaker pole? |
