I have a 18SX and buying a 20 but need to sell the 18 SX first. Serial number on the hull is CCMC2303L293 and sails are in good shape but a little tired, rudder system rebuilt with all new parts and galvanized trailer is in good shape… So what is the best place (online) to sell and how do I determine the market value? Thanks for your help in advance – Capt Kirk |

Thanks for your help in advance – Capt Kirk Use a shotgun strategy to sell your boat by advertising on this forum, craigslist, thebeachcats.com, your local Hobie division and fleets, and asking the closest Hobie dealer if he will sell it on consignment. You've got to spread the word, nerd!! The dealer will also be a good resource for pricing. Market pricing depends on your location, the condition of the boat, and your ability to sell it. Photos do the most to sell a boat. |
