| Post subject: | 18 Rudders |
Heya all., Had a quick question about the rudders on an 18. Are they they same rudders that fit a 16 ? are the interchangable ? I've seen an add selling a set of good - great rudders for a 16, about 100$ ., and well.. if they will fit an 18, im going to grab em. Thanks in advance. Jay |

They are the same if on new style housings. The old 18 housings will not accept newer rudders, won't lock down. Also be sure they are epo's or the black fiberglass. The white plastics are to soft. Also stay away from the white knight race rudders from Hobie unless racing, the trailing edge is very fragile and you'll be repairing them alot. |
