My 1988 H18 has the original style traveler 'deadeye', the V shaped stainless loop the traveler end of the mainsheet ties off to. I recall an upgraded version where a stainless plate is welded in the top of the inverted V with a hole the line passes through for a stopper knot. I'd like to upgrade to this part to stop the line from sliding down, but have not found it listed with Hobie Cat or Murrays. The original PN# is 61060001. Perhaps Matt Miller can help? |
