Sorry, I haven't seen any info in the posts about trying to buy wings for an 18? Can you buy them new from Hobie or a private firm? How do you find used wings for sale or does anyone have any wings for a stock Hobie 18?

you are looking for a discontinued item that is highly sought after. expect to pay 600.00-800.00 (before shipping) i have been looking myself...no one wants to sell them separately.

I was lucky and found a good used H18 with the SX wings already installed. I did have to do some repairs on mine and now they are in good shape.

I have seen used either Magnum or SX wings for sale on this forum several times in the last year and they usually went quickly. Shipping would be expensive due to their size. Keep looking and good luck.

PS: I love the wings on my boat, make it so much more comfortable to sail, the reason I got a H18 in the first place.

John Lunn up near Toronto had a set of SX wings for sale. He posts here regularly. He offered them to me for sale as recently as last November. Perhaps he still has them and can respond.

If some one was able to produce a good custom wing like the magnum, how many people would look to purchase a pair, for around $1000 new, with all mounting hardware included?
Send me your responses please.

Hello, I too am looking for a magnum wing the starboard side so if any one need the port maybe we can buy the set together I broke mine last Aug. with three of us big guys on it in a 30 mph wind snaped right off, next thing I know I am swimming, I didn't know there was a weight load limit(Lol) on it, and after all was said and done I saw the old and faded tag on it and it said 450lbs. So if anyone needs a port side or knows of a starboard side please let me know, I'll go halfs with you on a set if I need to.
