| Post subject: | Trapeze wire routing with wings |
I would like to know from those of you with either Magnum or SX wings, how many of you have your traqeze wires routed to the outside of the wings as opposed to the inside. The official Hobie instructions for mounting wings state to re-route the trapezes to the outside of the wings. I still have mine routed to the inside of the wings which was the configuration it was in when I bought it. The only problem I seem to have is when trying to get hiked out, the trapeze handle seems to easily come off of my hook which is pointed upwards. Once I'm on the wire it is fine. Tried it both ways. Found that the outside of the wings is best. Also provides a grip point when seated on the wings. Hard to use them routed inside the wings. |
