Hello 18 Fleet,
Mark your calendars for Aug 4-8 for the H18 North Americans at Lake Huntington, Ca.

This is the same location that was used for the H16 Youth North Americans this past summer.
There is a article about that event in the fall Hotline! http://www.hcanamembers.com/13-3hotline.pdf (see page 28). We will be there at the same time of year.
Many of the parent / organizers were drooling at the conditions the youth were enjoying. This lake has wind that comes up like clockwork at 11:00am.

What's also great about this lake is you can camp next to your boat or rent cabins or condos. Huntington also has many great amenities. Across the road from the launch/beach there is a grocery/hardware store, deli, restaurant and tavern.

Friends and family can also watch the racing from the point. The start line is close to the launch area if anyone needs to make adjustments or repairs. There are also activities for non-sailors. Close by there is hiking, horseback riding, cycling and for more see this link. http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOC ... 344067.pdf

Stay tuned the NOR will be posted in the next few weeks.

Good luck finding one in your area. All the A+ 16 sailors in Div 3 are looking for 18s. Find your old Tiger and come sail in our Hobie F18 event. More your speed.

Sorry to say but this event is going to postpone for a year due to the California drought. See more details under the racing discussion.

Just so everyone knows... Huntington Lake is postponed to 2015, but there will be an event for all concerned at Cascade Locks, Oregon.
Go to Hobie Division 4 to register. More information is available HERE.
