Hey there, I have the fiberglass tiller on my 18SX and the grip tape is looking old and nasty so needs replacing. Having trouble tracking down replacement tape that's waterproof - or at least won't peel off when wet - and ideally in different color options. Anyone have any ideas where you can find such grip tape? Thanks! Phil |

I've used hockey tape. It's not totally waterproof, but its inexpensive and has worked well for several seasons. You can get it in cool colors too (although they do fade in UV). |

Rigging tape works great. Waterproof, grippy...but expensive. Usually found in white or black. |

I had read somewhere on here that the hockey tape would degrade in the sun and start melting off - how did your's hold up over the summer? Mine's pretty wore out ![]() |

I store my sails, boom and tiller under shelter when not in use so was not out in open all summer except when on the water. It held up really well in those conditions though and good to go for next season for sure. |

Bicycle inner tubes.. they don't hold up in the sun very well... But road bike tubes slip over stock extensions perfectly. |
