Hi,

I have to replace the rudders of my HB18. Are the HB16 rudder = HB18 rudder? Can I buy a hb16 rudders and adapt to my HB18?

I present Hidalgo (HB18)

Best Regards

Thats a great looking 18. The drill is different for a 16 vs 18. The rudders are the same and come without holes new. You can't use rudders that have been installed on a 16. Your sails do not look like Hobie factory, what brand are they? Is your main a squaretop? That chute isn't Hobie either, any pics of your spin sheet set-up? One last thought, leave your rudder down. It will make jibing much easier and the drag isn't noticable(sp?).

"Sweet" Some day I hope to have enough guts to try that by myself. Sail information would be nice as mine are shot.
