Hello, My main halyard snapped on me ![]() Not sure how to install a new one, should I remove the top cap? is there an easy way to run the new halyard though the mast. I have searched on the web and all I can find is replacement of a current old halyard but not installing one. Thank you in advance for your time, Gilbert |

You can run the line through the top pulley pretty easily - it may take a little twisting/luck though. I was able to do it while getting eaten alive by horseflies a few weeks back. Once you run it down to the bottom of the mast you can remove that pulley and run it through. Hope this helps. /It may work differently on a comp-tip mast |

Push up though the pulley and into the luff track... start top. Using a spike or long nail, poke / hook the line through the track opening and drag down the length of the mast. Pass through the lower pulley. |
