Hi all, Another season coming to a close here in New Jersey and I know the material on my wings will need replacing before next year. It's a gray mesh currently but I'm wondering if I should switch to Vinyl (more comfortable on rear end maybe?) or stick with mesh. Love any opinions. |

once the vinyl is worn out the wings are shot. you should just sell me what is left. ![]() i would think mesh would be preferable, as it would dry faster and hold less water. maybe it doesn't last as long? |

Thanks for that. Yea have to say moved from a 16 to 18sx a few years ago and those wings make all the difference! Good point on vinyl holding water. That would likely make righting a little more difficult too. Mesh it is! |

i doubt mesh would change things much during a righting maneuver. the holding water part i spoke of, i meant while you are sitting on the things. |

Vinyl might hold up a little better, but mesh dries a lot faster. The 18 tends to toss a lot of water on the wings (at speed) so I prefer mesh. More importantly though, get cup holders. 3 per side is a good number. Joe |
