Sunday. we were first over the line on the Queen's Plate race, but took off 1/2" off the bottom of my daggers when we met Burberry Reef on the way out. Yikes. 8.4 nautical miles in 59 minutes, 21 C, sunny, SW 8 k gusting 11 k, and we had fun smoking all the keel boaters. I do not enter Hobie sanctioned events, so I don't need a brand new set of daggers, as we only do Club racing. A good used pair of daggers looks like the answer. Good to very good, please, rather than 'fair to good'. While mine are repairable, this is a timing issue.
