My Hobie 18 came with 2 sales but only one set of battens. I am too cheap to pay the $350 for a second set of 10. Are there any alternatives? I would even consider making them |

The free option would be to just transfer the battens from one sail to the other when you wanted to change sails. You could look into different suppliers but the cost is so high because of the length. |

Oh I forgot, keep an eye on Ebay, a set has been know to pop up there from time to time, just watch out for the shipping. Due to the length they are considered over size. |
