Any other Hobie 18s considering going to Mid-Winters East in Panama City FL? It's March 9-11th. I'm thinking of going, but want to make sure I've got some competition before I commit. NOR: http://www.hcana.hobieclass.com/site/ho ... %20MWE.pdf B~ P.S. I edited this post since I originally had a brain fart and stated it was in Pensacola. It's in Panama City. |

I am going down with an 18 and it will be my first race. I'll probably be easy to spot somewhere in the distance behind you. I am also planning to race in the Pensacola race the following weekend. ww.keysailing.com. I don't think they have posted the notice of race yet, but it is listed on thebeachcats.com website. I talked with folks at both places and they indicated the 18s would probably be in an open class, since there may not be enough to make up an 18 class. Keep trying to drum up some 18s. |

I am looking at this race but my 18 would run open class or F18 class. Probably won't make it, we'll see. |

as per hobie class rules here will be no open class or f18 class, just a H18 stock class and a Hobie Tiger Class. |

Thanks Brad, I obviously will not attend then. My 18 is now converted to a self-tacking jib so I can't convert back to stock. |
