Post subject: | Traveller slugs/rollers |
Heya, The 18 traveller came with one slug and one roller, or two slugs. Is it still possible to get the rollers? A friend's 18 has two slugs and it's awful trying to get the traveller to move. I saw that there is a 'kit' or 'set' in the catalog - what's in the kit, or is it possible to just order the roller? Thanks in advance! |

Unfortunately the kits no longer come with the ball...only two cylinders. We've lost our vendor for the balls due to a tooling issue, which means the balls are *NLA*. You can try lubing the track, but at this time that is the only option. |

Ugg. Any chance that you will ever find a new vendor? If not, would it be possible to post detailed dimentions (for those of us with friends with metal shops, etc.)? |

Do a search on the slug & ball parts. This was discussed in the past. Other options may be to place grooves in the slugs to reduce the friction of the two slug set-up. (Similar to a wood dowel). My company dosn't allow us to use the equipment for personal use any more or I would make myself a few new balls. (I still have one new one left) ![]() |
