Hey Just finished up restoring a Hobie 18 and have put wings on it. I'm not sure if I should put mesh trample on them? It seems that it might be very slippery to stand on when trapping out. Any experience with that? https://youtu.be/cQD4J8JNLcA |

My wings still have the factory mesh, which is a little rough due to age. I do not find them slippery. Trapping out on the wings is a fantastic experience, but a little scary when the hull flies high as you are a few feet higher up vs trapping off the hulls. |

I have mesh tramps on my wings. I wear Keen sandals that have a hard sole and closed toe. Makes it more comfortable to have a sturdy sole instead of something super flexible. The wings are a little complexity to trapezing, but I love it. You get high in the air quick. |
