I have posted several of my models of different things I have made for my Hobie 18 on Thingiverse. The most useful so far are: - Mast support: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624080 - Trailer Cradles: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5420504 - Tiller Extension to Magnum Wing clip: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5420523 - Magnum Wing Support Ends (for 2" PVC wing support): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624061 - H18 Port Hatch Tool Tray: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624089 - Base for H18 PVC Gin Pole: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624127 Surprisingly, the PLA holds up pretty well even in the summer heat. My draft print of the mast support was only 0.5mm thick and managed to hold up all last summer. It did deform a bit right below the mast and under the strap, but it kept the mast, aft crossbar, and tiller crossbar separated and adequately cushioned. The new one I printed a couple months ago is more robust and should last for years. There are still a few other things that I may design to make rigging, sailing, or trailering a bit easier and faster. I also made a H18 cookie cutter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6624099 Enjoy |
