Mine are somewhat beat up (previous owner). Any tricks to replacing them? Special rivets or rivet gun or special Nose for the gun? Any sealing required? Got my new (used) Hobie wetsuit yesterday via eBay. Best $22 I have spent this year. Time to go sailing. |

Hobie 18 jib tracks / rivets. The rivet is shown in the parts guide as # 8010121 (6-10 stainless, 3/16" diameter x 5/8" grip length). There is a small washer we place under the lip on each rivet to disperse some of the load. Listed as # 61360000 as "curved", but we don't offer this as a "curved" item any longer. It is simply washer #8080551. The washer is stainless with a 3/16" inner diameter. |

John, I replaced mine with bolts and nuts rather than rivets. It was easier for me to install the washers on a bolt versus on a rivet. I used nylock nuts so they wouldn't back out. Makes it easy to remove down the road for painting etc |
