To replace the tramp I needed to remove a wing bracket from the rear crossbar by drilling out the rivets. The wings on my 18SX are damaged and I'm not in a hurry to fix them so I didn't replace the wing bracket. My question is: Do the holes on the crossbar need to be plugged? |

It is not a necessity but I would if it was me,especially if you are in the estuary or the bay much. Shawn 82 h18 #8211 div3 |

I sold the wings off of a boat I used to own. I just put a small amount of silicone in the holes, and wiped the excess off of the outside of the crossbar. Made a nice clean quick easy fix and lasted for 3 or 4 years that I know of. Stephen H-18 |
