My wife and I are very excited about the new Mirage Eclipse. In fact, we just paid a deposit on two (a yellow 10.5' and a blue 12') through one of our Southern California Hobie Dealers (Long Beach Windsurf Center). We missed the first batch of four (two demos; two for sale); however, we were told that our two would be the third and fourth of their second batch of four. We would love to have them in time for a planned family reunion on the coast in mid-July. How optimistic should we be that they will be delivered by then??? Thanks for this new innovative product! |

There are currently 3 waves of shipping. Depending on when the order was placed... we have increased production as much as is possible for the short term. Boards began shipping in April. Reorders are the third wave and start shipping mid July. |

Not trying to turn this into where is my Eclipse topic.......but..... I just missed out on an Eclipse 1st delivery pre order here in the Houston TX area. So...... I'm going to be in Destin FL the month of June so I put down a deposit at a Destin store for a Yellow 12 out of their first order. Do you think the first orders will be delivered there by then? Thanks |

So, if there are three waves with the first one having been shipped in April and the third planning to be shipped in mid July, when is the second shipment projected to be sent? Mid-June? I believe that I am included in the second wave/shipment (the second group of four, the first being two demos and two for sale), so that is why I am asking about the second wave. Thanks for clarifying. |

If I was quoted August delivery by a dealer in Massachusetts is that likely the 3rd wave? Has "mid-July" forecast for the 3rd round slipped at all or is it still likely to begin mid-July? Thanks! |

Check with your dealer... they should have the latest information. There was a hitch when we decided to add an additional deck pad at the handlebar area to prevent slipping. Users were stepping on the area to pull up on the handlebars for removal. It is a safety upgrade. |

I am aware of the hitch with adding a non-slip pad around the handlebars... However, is there a July update on Mirage Eclipses arriving in Southern California? We put our deposit down on two in May (just after the first shipment of four were gone). Any update would be appreciated. Thanks. |
