In the videos, the bow rides too high. SUP paddlers keep the displacement hull bow in the water to increase waterline and cut through the water for increased speed.

Move fore or aft on the pedals to balance the trim.

Moving forward will reduce you leverage on the pedals, right? I guess adding some sandbags to the nose would help balance it.

It doesn't take much movement to balance it.

In my experience the bow is too low if you are mid pedal or forward. If you simply stand up straight your weight also moves forward. Some video is deceiving as the bow is up due to the pedaler leaning aft and not standing upright... plus the thrust / speed makes the bow rise as well.
