Post subject:  Extended 'Deck Padding'

A note that came with my 12' Eclipse stated that the early models did not have additional decking pads forward near the Handlebar mounts..... and that 'upgrade kits' would be sent to add them. Are there any pictures of what the 'current configuration' looks like? And WHEN can we expect the 'upgrade kits' to be available, or shipped? :?:
All the pictures that I see 'online', and in the brochure, show two small strips of deck pad on either side of the handlebar shaft. Is this the 'old' or 'current' configuration? Image

They said, "be sure to register", and the 'upgrade' would be sent. Guess they can tell by our serial number..... if it is older and requires the kit. Anyone getting theirs..... please let the forum know.

We shipped pads to those on the registered list this week. Dealers will get the rest, so if not in the mail... See your dealer.

I hope the 'pads' come with installation instructions..... I sure would hate to get it on 'crooked'!

Got mine, in the mail. Checked 'Install Video'.... easy, and went on 'straight'! :P HINT: with the paper backing removed; slightly bend the ends of the pad toward you. Center the 'cutout hole' over the handlebar base (leaving equal amounts of colored decking on all sides). Press the center down, and gradually work your way out to the corners.
