Post subject:  eclipse cart

I bought the eclipse cart with the EZ wheels. When I tried to place in on the board it does not fit in all the way in. That is, nothing rests on the pad between the two pins that enter the holes in the board?? When the board is tipped the cart falls out. There are two small holes on the board near where the cart plugs in. What are these for?
The video makes it look easy but it is not easy getting the cart to stay in the board. What am I doing wrong. I also received no directions from the dealer who sold me the cart (for a very lot of money I might add).
thanks beluga

The pad does not touch the board. The cart also does not fully insert and there is no "keeper" system to keep it in. You can tweak the posts inboard or out (breaker bars / pipes as leverage) to add a small amount of friction if desired. The cart will stay in unless you lift the board off of it.

I really like this cart I bought from Amazon: Apex SUP Stand-Up Paddle Board Dolly Cart. It was about $50.00.

I can rinse both sides of the board at the same time, and use with or without the Hobie board bag.

I did have to replace the axle to widen it to 7", but has worked great!
