So we purchased an eclipse a few weeks ago. The handlebars have always been pretty difficult to get in/out. I did notice that it seemed to get more difficult each time. This most recent time I cannot get them out at all. Anyone else have this happen? Any tips tricks? It is difficult to get leverage and I don't want to stand on the board when it is on the floor. I am assuming something needs to be ground down more on the base of the handlebars to prevent this from happening. |

Try penetrating oil. Likely friction. Does not need to be filed. |

Thanks. I should specify that I mean I can't remove the handlebars from the board. Just don't want anyone confusion. I tried the above and still no luck. I wish there was somewhere on the bottom of the board that I could push the handlebars out from. |

Place on a pad or grass. Stand on it and work the handlebars back and forth while pulling up. The lock lever is open I would hope? |

I'm starting to have this problem too! I can't stand on the board and pull up (I will fall off when it jerks loose). **Board is too heavy for me to remove fin every time, so I use cart wheels to get in water and then rig/unrig using water as support. As an older woman (with less strength than my younger self), I would like to address this ASAP. Thank you! |

Maybe coat with silicone before assembly. Be sure the receiver is clean. Upwards lift while twisting using the handle bars perhaps. |

Having the same problem. I have some Liquid Wrench penetrating oil spray...would that work? I also have some liquid film spray and silicone (in a tube, not in spray form). Soap? Wax ? Looking for a solution that I don't have to reapply every time I use the board. |
