This weekend my relatively new (under warranty) Mirage iEclipse rolled in a wave and the rudder mount broke off entirely, such that the plastic mount tore away from the rubber sheathing. What I had understood from the documentation is that under high loads the rudder pin should have failed rather the mount itself. So I reckon this is a design flaw and subject to warranty coverage, but thought I'd confirm here. |
