I’ve got a 12’ and now just bought a 10.5’ second hand eclipse. They have came down in price a lot in australia - are they discontinued now??
I am thinking of trying to get a motor working on it, I have a torqeedo 403ac from my tandem island - but it’s on a long shaft (pro2is’s photo):
I’ll test out if this fits through the mirage well, and wondering if there’s a way to put a hobie evolve bracket over that torqeedo tube to then allow it to click in, or if I’d be better trying to add a mount on the back.
If anyone has rigged up a motor, anyone used a bixpy?? I’d be keen to hear !
