Has anyone else received their hobie compass with a botched screw? Mine was a transducer cover screw that was in totally sideways... I went to file a warranty claim and the serial number was never engraved!!!! I was told the office was closed when I reached out last and that someone would contact me this morning with a solution. I have not heard anything and im seeing my messages are being read but no one has replied.

Am I the only one with this horrid experience?

Just spoke with you on the phone. All good. Let me know if I can do anything else.

It’s not all good yet but I submitted the photos to my dealer and I’ll wait to hear back from them. Maybe the hobie fishing FB chat isn’t such a clever idea. Thanks for calling me back.

The Compass one is a owners group and not run by the factory. I'll have a look at our company pages though... there is no live body reading Facebook posts all day. We just cycle through forums and Facebook at different times during the day. Chat would make no sense.

Chat would make perfect sense, Matt. This is why all the major companies offer a chat service. Its 2018 :)

Hobie doesn't like to out-source to India like major companies.
