Capsized the Sport sailing and apparently did not have the seat clipped in.... anyone know of any seat solutions for the time being until my wife allows me to purchase a new seat? Luckily I had the trax cart behind me for a back rest and was surprised how well it worked. I stayed out for about 45 min without the seat and it really wasn’t that bad. Perhaps some 2-3” foam and a foam wrap on the cart is all I need. Lesson learned |

I dont rely on that clip, I use a couple of stout cords from each back corner with SS clips to tankwell padeyes. Expensive lesson learned there |

It sounds like the seat wasn't installed correctly either. The backrest straps should clip to the hull and not the seat itself. That'll keep it attached if you turtle. |
