Is this ok to do? Does there have to be 2 pads underneath at the spots in the owner's manual when I store it like this? |

Yes. When our kayaks were stored on the basement floor, I just layed 2 8’ 2x4s across underneath them where they’d normally lay on a roof rack. Later I hung these from the ceiling and hung the kayaks up out of the way. Now we store them upright on a trailer with pvc bunks. Peter |
