Post subject:  Mirage drive leash tether point question

Hi all,
Now that I have joined the ranks of Hobie owners this past weekend, I need to join the ranks of owners who mod their rides....
I see that Hobie sells a leash for the mirage drive and that it mounts to a pre-existing set of screw holes on the right hand side of the yak. Does anyone know the specs for those holes? What size pad eye and screws could I order from somewhere that would work? I have made my own leash already using the trimmer line method. Just need to attach it somewhere safe!
Thanks in advance!

For all of our Hobies, I use 50 lb zap straps and bungy cords. I zap strap a loop to a bungy which I then zap strap to the little knob in front of the kayak just below the hole for the sail. On the other end of the bungy I zap strap a loop with a brass clip. On the pedals I tie off a bungy with a loop. In use I can clip and unclip the bungy to the pedals.

I find the weedeater stuff too tangly myself.
