Hi guys, a newbie here. I am looking to buy a Tandem Oasis or Compass maybe in fall when finally those 2 kayaks become available but I have a question. I like more the Oasis because 3 features among other features, 1- thinner (less drag) 2- the seats adjustments and 3- the front closed storage, I really dont like the open bow in the Compass. If I go the Compass route (1,000 cheaper) unfortunately is nothing I can do regarding the shape of the kayak but I may can upgrade the seats. I wonder if I can buy the Hobie rectangular hatch door and make a closed storage in the front. In pictures its very hard to see if its possible and looks like is not. I dont have a dealer with any Compass or Oasis in stock in my area that I can go and look at it. Maybe at the end of the day I may be better just with the Oasis instead of buy the parts and install them, so the $1000ish difference its maybe worth it. I will appreciate any advice. |
