I love the idea of being able to store some plano boxes under the compass seat. Although I'm only 165#, the flex in the fwd seat rail makes it tough. I cut some small rectangular bits of hdpe cutting board and double stickied them to the seat features. ended up w/ about 3/8" of increased height that now allows me to slide two 3700 plano boxes in under it. Oh and the other hack is the seat restraint bungee is really not needed. Use big heavy duty zip ties and fasten down seat. That then allows you to remove the bungee which gets in the way of the boxes sliding under the seat. |
