Post subject: | 2022 Compass Changes |
Hi, I recently placed an order for two 2022 Compass kayaks, and the dealer said he heard the seat will be different than previous years' Compass models, but he wasn't sure what the differences are. Please reply with any info about seat changes, and any other changes, for the 2022 model Compass. Thanks! |

Hi, I was also wondering if the 2022 Compass is going to have steering on both sides? Thanks! |

“New for 2022 is an anodized aluminum alloy frame seat offering incredible comfort, durability and breathability with monomesh and riptstop nylon construction.” I believe that’s all |

Still no official word from Hobie? Any other updates for any models for 2022 other than the massive price increases? |

The above about the seat update is copied directly from the Hobie website, so it’s official |

Ah, thanks, I found it. I was expecting something more of an announcement, rather than one sentence buried in a description of one model. Is this literally the only change across all models for 2022? Also, it might be nice to see the new seat on the Compass. I'm assuming it is similar to the Lynx/Passport seats. |

where is that change? And anyone know where I can find new prices? (might be in the market for a passport) I am assuming no changes to passport or outback as the hobie YouTube channel has come out with "Walk thrus" for both these models in the last couple weeks. I know passport had relatively recent changes (12), so wasn't expecting this year, but new price would be good to know in this new world. |

Marketing must still be doing site updates. Sometimes it is best to not show changes when dealers may still have or be getting the past configurations. Might be why they delay. |
